ߣߣÊÓƵ is joining the ranks of other universities around the country in implementing endpoint protection to bolster our cybersecurity posture against threats like ransomware. We also encrypt all ߣߣÊÓƵ-owned devices.

In service of our shared responsibility, the University is implementing CrowdStrike Falcon as another plank in our cybersecurity strategy, and IT Services is here to lead the way.
Disk Encryption
In Fall 2017, ߣߣÊÓƵ University IT Services rolled out full disk encryption (FDE). Almost everyone who works at ߣߣÊÓƵ has some confidential information, as defined in MUPIM 3.22, on their computers. By installing FDE, we are ensuring that none of that confidential data can be accessed if an employee’s ߣߣÊÓƵ-issued laptop is lost or stolen.
