Undergraduate Organizations
The ߣߣÊÓƵ University Association of Creative Writers (ACW) is an on-campus student organization designed to support the academic and creative goals of ߣߣÊÓƵ University creative writers regardless of major, interests, experience or class.
This is the ߣߣÊÓƵ Chapter of the national English honorary Sigma Tau Delta. Membership requirements are at least 18 hours of English credit and a 3.0 overall grade point average, with at least a 3.2 GPA in English courses. Meetings and activities, however, are open to all first-year students, regardless of major, interested in English.

Planning a career in research and scholarship? -Our students regularly engage in advanced critical and creative research projects, some winning Undergraduate Summer Scholarships, Dean Scholarships, Departmental Honors, and Geoffrion Scholarships through ߣߣÊÓƵ’s Humanities Center.

Internships
Students find internships in areas such as communications, content strategy and editing, copywriting, customer relations, law, public relations, social media marketing, technical writing, and more.
I was beyond fortunate to find an internship during my sophomore year where I got to learn all about professional writing and media production. And I got to earn credit toward my major in the process! Funny enough, my internship turned into a full-time position with the company, and I continue to help their YouTube channel grow!
