As one of 14 departments in the Division of Student Life, the Miller Center for Student Disability Services (SDS) coordinates accommodations, auxiliary aids, support services and resources for over 3000 students on ߣߣÊÓƵ's Oxford and Regional campuses. SDS supports a commitment to facilitate access to the ߣߣÊÓƵ college experience. Services are coordinated in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
We serve a diverse group of students including those with physical, vision, hearing, psychiatric, medical, neurological, learning, and cognitive disabilities, as well as autism spectrum and ADHD. We also coordinate temporary accommodations for students who experience significant injury or illness.

In addition to providing student support services, SDS supports faculty in providing student accommodations. Faculty have access to an online portal to manage student accommodations. We also provide faculty training and education opportunities related to accessibility and teaching students with disabilities.
SDS embraces the social model of disability and each member of our team is passionate about advancing accessibility and inclusion for all. We look forward to working with you as a partner in these efforts.

Scott and Susan Miller
In 2018, the Millers (ߣߣÊÓƵ Class of 1961) established an endowment to ߣߣÊÓƵ University to create the J. Scott and Susan MacDonald Miller Center for Student Disability Services so that students have the support they need in pursuing their ߣߣÊÓƵ degree. Scott and Susan are proud to have their name associated with such an important center on campus.
"The generous gift from the Millers to ߣߣÊÓƵ will leave a legacy for generations of current and future Redhawks," said J. Andrew Zeisler, former director of the center. "The gift supports our institutional mission of inclusive excellence while enhancing our ongoing cultural engagement of students with disabilities at ߣߣÊÓƵ."
