ߣߣÊÓÆµ Hamilton Promise

The ߣߣÊÓÆµ Hamilton Promise Scholarship offers free tuition for an associate or bachelor’s degree from ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals for students who live in Hamilton, Ohio.

How It Works

The ߣߣÊÓÆµ Hamilton Promise Scholarship will cover the cost of tuition and fees after financial aid for eligible students. The scholarship will be available for up to eight consecutive semesters during fall and spring semester classes. 

ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals awarded the ߣߣÊÓÆµ Hamilton Promise Scholarship beginning in the fall of 2024, and will continue to enroll students each fall.

Minimum Requirements to Qualify

  • First-time new undergraduate student enrolling at ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals full-time (12 credit hours or more) following high school graduation
  • Lived (has a primary, permanent address) in the city of Hamilton during all four years of high school
  • Attended all four years at Hamilton High School, Stephen T. Badin High School, or Butler Tech from Hamilton City School District and graduated
    • GED recipients and Homeschoolers do not qualify
    • Early high school graduates will qualify in the fall semester following graduation
  • Cumulative high school GPA of 2.5+ (unweighted)
  • Complete and submit the ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals Admission Application by April 1, 2025
    • A complete Admission application includes ߣߣÊÓÆµ Regionals Admission application and an official high school transcript
    • A separate scholarship application and ACT/SAT scores are not required. However, please note that submitting ACT/SAT scores could qualify you for additional scholarship opportunities
    • If you have already applied for the fall 2025 term at ߣߣÊÓÆµ Regionals, there is no need to submit another application
  • Complete and submit the to ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals by April 1, 2025
  • Eligible for the Pell Grant (determined by the FAFSA)

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

  • The scholarship may be renewed for up to eight consecutive semesters
  • Full-time enrollment (12 credit hours or more) as a ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals student each semester. Students may take courses towards their degree in Oxford, however 51% of courses each semester must be taken at Regionals campuses to maintain eligibility.
  • Maintain an annual cumulative ߣߣÊÓÆµ University GPA of 2.0+
  • Maintain Pell Grant eligibility each year
  • Maintain a primary residence in the approved city limits

In addition to celebrating each of our new cohorts with an awards ceremony, ߣߣÊÓÆµ University Regionals will support students, check in on their progress, and help them reach their goals and their graduation day.
