: Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) helps individuals achieve quality employment, live independently, and receive the benefits they deserve through Social Security Disability Insurance determination. It facilitates customized employment plans, offers vocational rehabilitation, and helps companies recruit and retain employees with disabilities.

: The American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio supports affirmative policies promoting employment for people with disabilities, as well as inclusive and appropriate education for students with disabilities.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, the Campaign for Disability Employment (CDE) is a highly collaborative effort among several disability and business organizations that showcases supportive, inclusive workplaces for all workers. It maintains a a list of resources for job seekers and employees with disabilities.

: The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is the leading source of free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment issues.

: USA.gov has compiled a list of job training and employment programs for people with disabilities.

: The Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) is a law that makes available a free appropriate public education to eligible children with disabilities throughout the nation and ensures special education and related services to those children.

Miller Center for Student Disability Services: The Miller Center coordinates accommodations, auxiliary aids, support services and resources for students on ߣߣÊÓƵ’s Oxford and Regional campuses. The SDS serves a diverse group of students including those with physical, vision, hearing, psychiatric, medical, neurological, learning, and cognitive disabilities, as well as autism spectrum and ADHD. It also coordinate temporary accommodations for students who experience significant injury or illness

: Offered by the Miller Center, Ohio College2Careers aims for students with disabilities to have the support they need to complete their degree and/or credential, earn higher wages, and meet the demands of tomorrow’s labor market. C2C is a partnership between Ohio’s state college and university system, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, Ohio businesses, and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD).

The Students with Disabilities Advisory Council: The Students with Disabilities Advisory Council (SDAC) is a student-led group focused on being the leading voice for all students with disabilities on ߣߣÊÓƵ’s campuses. SDAC aims to raise awareness about disability-related issues among students and faculty, and to provide support systems for ߣߣÊÓƵ’s disability community. As an advisory council, SDAC acts as a liaison between university stakeholders and ߣߣÊÓƵ students with disabilities.

Student Counseling Service: Student Counseling Service provides primary, secondary, and tertiary level interventions in an effort to achieve and/or maintain a mentally healthy status for each student and to create a learning environment that facilitates and supports that status.

Student Success Center: The Student Success Center can provide assistance to a number of special student populations in solving complex problems.

Student Counseling Services: ߣߣÊÓƵ’s regional campuses provide students with confidential counseling services free of charge. It offers counseling in the following areas: suicide awareness and prevention personal concerns, relationship issues, and mental health support services.

: The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) works to increase the political and economic power of people with disabilities. It promotes equal opportunity, economic power, independent living, and political participation. The AAPD offers summer and fall internship programs and hosts a Career Center on its website.

: The American Psychological Association (APA) has compiled a list of organizations that work to improve access and promote the full inclusion of individuals from various disability identities within society.
